Job summary

Leica Microsystems in Singapore is seeking a Global Product Security Manager (Medical) to integrate cybersecurity and privacy across the product lifecycle for medical devices, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR where applicable while supporting timely product releases and market acceptance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, or equivalent.
• Familiar with modern software development methods and tools across platforms.
• Experience in product security development including threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability scanning, and security testing.
• Direct experience in regulated security/privacy environments (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR); medical device industry preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with ability to work with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise internal stakeholders on cybersecurity standards, best practices, issues, and security maturity progress, especially for medical devices.
• Review, refine, and train on product security processes and tool integrations.
• Partner with product teams for secure designs with threat models, risk assessments, and security testing.
• Monitor for and coordinate responses to vulnerabilities in the medical product portfolio.
