Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an OCT MTE Material Engineering Staff/Principal Engineer to lead material quality, filtration strategy, and value engineering across the global manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, materials engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to NAND and/or DRAM manufacturing environments.
• Experience in process or equipment engineering within semiconductor fabs.
• Involvement in technology node ramps or high‑volume manufacturing operations.
• Interest or experience deploying global standards and continuous improvement.
• Clear written and verbal communication with structured problem solving.
• Willingness to travel to support global teams and initiatives.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools for research and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead material quality, filtration, risk mitigation, and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Partner with global/site teams to define material requirements and qualifications.
• Develop and sustain Best Known Methods (BKMs) across sites.
• Collaborate with fabs to build material roadmaps supporting technology ramps.
• Facilitate global peer teams to align priorities and execution to goals.
• Plan and manage projects aligned to fab and corporate objectives.
• Use data and benchmarks to identify improvements and deploy scalable solutions.
• AI: integrate AI-enabled insights to improve efficiency and quality.
