Job Description - Global Placement Analyst, Global Placement Group (25000019)
Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting Underwriters to grow our multinational business as a member of Allied World’s Global Placement team.
Job Duties:
- Work with Underwriters across Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia to understand their multinational program and place local policies in overseas jurisdictions.
- Work with network partners and local carriers across the globe to place and service local policies and ensure local regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Support our key global network partnership as the lead contact to issue Singapore policies requested by overseas carriers who are members of the network.
- Work with other Global Placement team members, Operations, Legal & Compliance, Finance and Claims to manage local policies full cycle, from submission to issuance, booking and collection.
- Support training and engagement of Asia Pacific Underwriters to understand our multinational capability and process and build their knowledge and confidence.
- Support other Global Placement team members to respond to Underwriters and network partners.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Understanding of multinational insurance programs and how local policies are placed and managed.
- Experience in policy handling, including Casualty and Property.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to confidently work autonomously.
- Strong, demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills, strong written & verbal communication.
- Able and willing to identify and propose solutions to meet client needs.
- Experience working across different cultures.
- Excellent organizational skills to ensure time frames are met for clients and all processing and documentation are completed.
