Job summary

Security and Intelligence Division is seeking professionals to build strategic partnerships and manage relationships with local and international partners. The role focuses on overseas collaboration, policy input, and event coordination to advance Singapore’s security and diplomatic objectives.

You will engage with government and think tanks, analyse geopolitical developments, and lead teams in delivering hospitality and engagement events for SID's strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to network, engage, and understand the perspectives and requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
• Keen interest in international affairs, geopolitical and security-related developments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct and implement engagement strategies to meet SID’s needs.
• Analyse and report on geopolitical developments concerning Singapore’s strategic interests.
• Foster and maintain close networks with SID’s partners.
• Work closely in a team and with external partners.
• Monitor external strategic and security issues of interest to Singapore.
• Strategise, develop, and manage relations with local and international partners.
• Provide recommendations on policy formulation.
• Monitor and support officers based overseas.
• Advise and support SID in delivering hospitality to achieve engagement outcomes.
• Plan and organize engagement events with partners; source vendors.
