Job description

We're hiring a hands-on, tech-savvy specialist to support our global infrastructure rollouts. This is a junior field role, ideal for someone excited about working with hardware, supporting clients, and traveling to remote and international locations. You are going to be working with cutting-edge robotics hardware, such as autonomous self-recharging drones, embedded computers, and camera systems at on-field locations to install, onboard, and support customers with their entire setup. You will be travelling to our client locations - unique destinations around the world, such as Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Europe, and South America.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer delight by delivering quick turnaround times for deployment and onsite troubleshooting.
  • Primarily Australia and New Zealand, may be required to travel to other parts of the world from time to time.
  • Set up and maintain infrastructure: docks, drones, routers, laptops, and networks.
  • Own the deployment and onboarding process: install docks and drones, power and internet systems, run test flights, create flight plans and missions, and train customers.
  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely.
  • Follow and create detailed SOPs to ensure smooth and consistent deployments.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic about gaining exposure to UAVs, AI, and Agro-Technology.
  • Enthusiastic about exploring parts of the world - comfortable with extended international travel and remote work
  • Engineering (or) Equivalent Degree, or a strong technical background with hands-on experience.
  • Active learner with demonstrated interest in drones, machines, and automation processes.
  • Confident with: Networking and system setup (Windows/Linux), Hardware tools and repair basics, MS Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Hold a valid passport and driving license - confident with driving cars.
