Job description

The Global Logistics, Planning &Market Supply Chainteam oversees supply chain activities involved in delivering goods from manufactures to end consumers. This includes Value Chain Planning, Logistics & Fulfilment, Distribution, and Inventory management activities aimed at reaching and satisfying the customers. The primary objective of the market supply chain is to ensure that products are available to customers in the right quantity, at the right time, and in the right place, while also optimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

About the role

The Global Operation Execution Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) process across the Region and Global. This position is centred on fostering collaboration across the ecosystem to deal with exceptions and rebalance demand and supply plans with minimal disruptions to the business. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex operational challenges to drive seamless execution across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that S&OE meetings are conducted as scheduled, gathering all necessary inputs, preparing materials, facilitating discussions, and summarizing outcomes to drive effective decision-making and prepare for the subsequent weekly cycle.

Keep participants focused on managing execution priorities, balancing short-term demand and supply, and addressing S&OP plan exceptions within the defined cadence (weekly) and execution horizon (0–12 weeks).

Lead the S&OE initiative by acting as the primary point of contact for all related queries and discussions. Champion the process throughout the organization to build engagement and ensure consistent application.

Maintain a comprehensive view of demand, supply, and financial aspects of supply chain operations to identify short-term execution issues.

Highlight potential risks, opportunities, and significant deviations to inform tactical planning and ensure operational costs are managed effectively.

Facilitate S&OE meetings as live working sessions, ensuring that all relevant information is presented and discussed, stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made, and execution plans are documented with clear ownership and deadlines.

Communicate decisions and action plans from the S&OE meetings to relevant teams and departments, ensuring effective execution and accountability.

Strengthen the alignment between S&OE and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency. Escalate key issues from S&OE to IBP for strategic decisions, present impacts on cost, inventory, and service, and ensure alignment of production and supply plans.

Report metrics to the S&OE decision-maker and team to track progress and identify root causes. Leverage analytical tools to uncover opportunities for improvement, document processes, and collaborate on enhancements. Seek stakeholder feedback on process effectiveness, metrics, and outcomes, and conduct periodic health checks to ensure continuous improvement.

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About You

Broad understanding of interdependencies between functions (commercial, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing) and the associated cause-and-effect relationships.

Deep knowledge of S&OE process, demand planning, supply and inventory planning, new products introduction, resource allocation, master production schedule (MPS) and distribution requirement planning (DRP).

Ensures all data and activities are managed with precision, maintaining the appropriate level of detail for productive S&OE meetings.

Ability to create or review presentations to clearly communicate processes, concepts, data, scenarios, and other critical information, fostering teamwork and decision-making.

Effectively communicates with stakeholders at all levels, actively listening to diverse viewpoints and assessing their relevance to ensure successful S&OE outcomes.

Identifies organizational "hot spots" and facilitates alignment by focusing on shared goals. Handles high-tension situations with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism to maintain credibility and influence.
