Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and available for a 6.5-month full-time internship.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; VBA knowledge is advantageous.
• Interest in financial markets and capital markets activities.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Support: provide admin and operational support to the Institutional Sales desk across Structured Products, Fixed Income, and Syndicate activities.
• Process Automation: support automation initiatives, including the enhancement of term sheet and pricing supplement generation through Excel VBA and other digital solutions.
• Presentation Development: assist in preparing client and management presentation materials covering financial products, market developments, and investment opportunities.
• Market & Data Analysis: support data extraction, analysis, and preparation of insights for management meetings, business reviews, and strategic discussions.
• Reporting & Management Information: prepare periodic reports, including trade volume analysis, staff training records, and business performance updates.
• Event Coordination: assist in organising client events, internal learning sessions, regional conference calls, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Documentation & Stakeholder Support: coordinate meeting materials, maintain records, prepare meeting minutes, and support communication with internal stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on business initiatives, process improvements, and strategic projects as assigned.
