Job summary

TD Securities in Singapore is seeking a seasoned legal professional to join the Advisory & Contract Execution (ACE) Team. You will lead negotiation and execution of capital markets documentation across jurisdictions, aligning with legal, regulatory and risk requirements.

You will advise clients on ISDA, GMRA, Prime Brokerage and related agreements, coordinate with Legal, Credit and Front Office, and support deal origination with a focus on timely, compliant execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
6-8+ years of experience in legal documentation, capital markets, derivatives documentation, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of capital markets products including derivatives, fixed income, and/or equities.

Responsibilities

Lead the negotiation and execution of a diverse portfolio of capital markets agreements across multiple jurisdictions and product lines.
Advise clients on documentation requirements relating to capital markets transactions and onboarding activities.
Participate in client meetings and discussions, providing guidance on trading documentation and regulatory considerations.
Coordinate with trading, sales, origination, and front-office teams to support transactions and provide advisory services on documentation implications.
Draft, review, and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, GMRA, Prime Brokerage Agreements, Master Confirmation Agreements, Energy/Metals Agreements and other bespoke capital markets docs.
