Job Summary: Tracking of industry events, news, social media activity

Job Scope:

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to generate actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Designing and executing surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc. to gather direct feedback from patients, healthcare providers, or other stakeholders.
  • Analyzing existing reports, industry data, competitive intelligence, and market trends to gather relevant insights.
  • Collaborates with strategic and commercial marketing teams to guide product positioning, market entry, pricing strategies, and customer targeting based on research findings.
  • Track and analyze industry events, trends, and developments to identify relevant opportunities or risks.
  • Execute analysis aligned with stakeholders’ objectives, leveraging the appropriate research methodologies, databases, and tools.
  • Helps prioritize initiatives based on data-driven insights and market potential.
  • Partner with external vendors to carry out high-quality, rigorous research projects.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights that inform product development, market strategies, and customer understanding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, or a closely related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in market research, insights, or strategic planning roles, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
  • Experience in medical devices/pharmaceuticals or in healthcare consulting
  • Demonstrated leadership and drive, with a track record of delivering insights that influence business direction and decision-making.
  • Proficient in executing both primary and secondary research methodologies, with a solid understanding of research design and analysis.
  • Skilled in managing external vendors, research budgets, and complex multi-country or large-scale studies.
  • Understanding of global market dynamics
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Project management abilities with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and managing changing priorities

Additional Information:

  • Salary – Up to S$15K per month
  • Start Date: Immediate or within short notice
  • Contract Duration: 12-month, renewable
  • Location: CBD
  • Working Days and Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm
