Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage logistics strategies for exports from Asia to global markets, ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Organize and execute express, air, and sea freight shipments while maintaining full tracking and documentation.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain all documentation related to international shipping, customs clearance, and compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, internal procurement teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas offices to resolve operational issues.
- Review and assess logistics plans prepared by team members, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure smooth execution.
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the logistics team, including workload allocation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Develop and implement training plans to upskill the team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly logistics data and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a logistics or supply chain team.
- Solid understanding of international shipping processes, customs regulations, and global trade compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin to communicate effectively with Chinese counterparts.
