Job summary

J.P. Morgan Securities Asia Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an analyst to support senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing financing and advisory transactions across M&A, IPOs, bonds, loans, and structured products.

You will help prepare materials and build financial models for pitches and client discussions. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, at least one year in an investment banking front-office role, and strong execution focus with

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in an investment banking front-office role.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and its key steps, with a strong focus on execution.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Support senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing financing and advisory transactions across products, including M&A, IPOs, bonds, loans, and structured products.

• Build and maintain financial models and conduct detailed valuation analyses for pitches and projects.
• Work with senior team members and client management teams to support transaction execution and identify and manage deal-related risks.
• Coordinate analytical work with colleagues to help advance the marketing and execution process.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on transactions, including lawyers, accountants, and counterparties.
• Support client negotiations, the Q&A process, and management interviews, as directed by senior bankers.
