Job summary

SeaTech Solutions International (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks Graduate/Junior and Senior Marine/Mechanical/Industrial Design Engineers to design safety systems, deck machinery, and interior layouts for high-performance vessels.

Junior engineers will develop deck outfitting, safety plans and interior coordination, while Senior engineers lead complex outfitting, life-safety layouts, and structural interfaces with SOLAS compliance. Strong CAD skills and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a Diploma, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Marine, Mechanical or Industrial Design Engineering with 5+ years of outfitting experience.
• Exceptional 3D spatial awareness and proficiency in modern CAD modelling software.
• Strong attention to detail on ergonomics, safety and workflows.
• Thorough knowledge of SOLAS, canal rules and Class outfitting standards.
• Fluent English for cross-continental technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design deck outfitting arrangements (mooring, towing, lifting, anchoring).
• Develop life-saving, firefighting and escape route layouts.
• Coordinate interior spaces, insulation and ergonomic configurations.
• Ensure outfitting systems meet international safety and statutory codes.
• For seniors: lead deck outfitting layouts and supervise interface drawings.
