Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking a senior leader to strengthen the organisation's risk management across technology and operations. The role will oversee a team of professionals and partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Cybersecurity, Business, Risk and Compliance.

You will lead technology and operational risk frameworks, adapt to evolving regulatory expectations, and provide clear reporting on key risks and remediation. Regional/global scope with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in tech/operational risk within financial services.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity, cloud, data, and infra risks.
• Proven ability to oversee risk and resilience in complex organisations.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders across regions.
• Deep understanding of financial services regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology & Operational Risk function across tech, ops, and resilience.
• Provide independent oversight of major tech initiatives and cyber risk.
• Establish risk frameworks, policies, standards, and governance.
• Oversee risk identification, assessment, and remediation actions.
• Strengthen operational resilience and third-party risk oversight.
• Report risks and emerging themes to senior management and governance.
• Engage with regulators to ensure alignment with expectations.
• Partner with first-line stakeholders while maintaining independent oversight.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of risk professionals.
