Job summary

Wecruit Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced cybersecurity leader to drive the Group’s strategy, architecture, governance and operations across a distributed organization.

You will lead the transformation roadmap, establish consistent security policies, control standards and risk-management processes, and embed security into technology projects and cloud migrations. You will also oversee SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence and incident response.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity architecture, cloud, network, identity and security operations.
• Experience leading programmes across multiple markets or geographically distributed organisations.
• Proven incident response leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience in matrix organisations and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of international cybersecurity, privacy and data-protection requirements.
• Operational technology or critical technology environments experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group cybersecurity strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap.
• Establish consistent security governance, policies, control standards and risk-management processes across entities and regions.
• Define and implement enterprise security architecture covering network, cloud, endpoint, identity, workload, email, web and data security.
• Embed security requirements into technology projects, cloud migrations, system integrations and digital initiatives.
• Lead vulnerability, exposure and external attack-surface management.
• Oversee security operations including SIEM, EDR, detection engineering, threat hunting, threat intelligence and managed SOC services.
• Establish a coordinated Cybersecurity Incident Response capability and lead major incident response.
• Develop cyber-resilience programmes covering backups, recovery testing and business continuity.
• Strengthen cybersecurity across logistics and operational technology environments including warehouse systems, automation, robotics, fleet technology and EDI/API integrations.
• Drive identity, privileged-access, cloud, data-security and secure-AI initiatives.
• Ensure practices align with recognised frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Manage third-party security risks, customer security reviews and due diligence.
• Build and develop the cybersecurity team, manage external providers and report cyber-risk to senior leadership.

What We Are Looking For

• 12+ years of cybersecurity experience with proven leadership experience.
• Strong technical background in cybersecurity architecture, cloud, network, identity, endpoint, vulnerability management and security operations.
• Experience leading cybersecurity programmes across multiple markets or geographically distributed organisations.
• Proven experience managing major cybersecurity incidents and cross-functional response teams.
• Experience operating in a matrix organisation and influencing stakeholders across different business units.
• Knowledge of international cybersecurity, privacy and data-protection requirements.
• Experience with operational technology or business-critical technology environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, aviation, ports, rail or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Relevant cybersecurity or cloud-security certifications are advantageous.
