Our client is a fast-growing fintech company specializing in payments, blockchain, AI-driven financial solutions, etc. They are currently seeking a Global Events Lead to drive their event strategy, brand presence, and client engagement across international financial markets. This individual will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing high-impact events that elevate brand visibility, generate business opportunities, and strengthen industry relationships. This role requires expertise in fintech conferences, trade shows, private client events, and digital event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with business and marketing goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of industry conferences, trade shows, and client engagement events.
  • Identify strategic sponsorship, speaking, and partnership opportunities at key fintech events.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to craft compelling event narratives and messaging.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation across booth designs, keynote presentations, and networking events.
  • Drive thought leadership opportunities by securing executive speaking engagements and panel discussions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including event organizers, PR agencies, designers, and production teams.
  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI tracking.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure high-value sponsorship deals.
  • Track and measure event performance, attendee engagement, and lead generation outcomes.
  • Implement insights to improve future events and optimize marketing ROI.
  • Stay updated on fintech industry trends and innovate event experiences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in event management, marketing, or brand strategy, preferably in fintech, financial services, or technology.
  • Proven track record of executing large-scale global events, conferences, and sponsorship activations.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, fintech ecosystem, and B2B marketing.
  • Experience working with C-level executives, media, and industry influencers.
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple global events in a fast-paced environment.
