Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a sharp, high-impact Data Engineering Manager to lead our core Data Platform team. Reporting directly to the Director of Data Analytics, you will shape cloud data architecture, drive real-time workflows, and scale a global platform across regions.

You will mentor a squad of 6 engineers, own technical decisions, optimize workflows, and translate complex designs into actionable insights for senior leadership. This is a permanent, full-time role in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing engineering teams (ideally 3 to 6+ engineers).
• Exceptional, concise communication skills delivering technical detail to engineers and crisp business summaries.
• Hands-on leader with understanding of cloud data architecture and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad of 6 data engineers with direct reporting to the Director.
• Own scalable, cost-effective data platforms across regions.
• Focus on engineering efficiency, workflow optimization, and talent architecture.
• Understand code foundations, audit architecture, and interface with modern backend environments.
• Bridge whiteboard designs with concrete, high-impact insights for business leaders.
