Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) is seeking a proactive Business Controller to strengthen governance, controls and operational excellence across regional offices. The role involves improving processes, maintaining SOPs, and supporting regional projects with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable financial and operational insights.

You will work with stakeholders across countries, drive automation initiatives, and contribute to governance reporting and dashboarding to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines required.
• Candidates with 2–5 years in Finance, Accounting, Audit or Governance preferred.
• Fresh graduates with high learning agility welcome to apply.
• Exposure to process improvement, automation or digital tools is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Support operational business control activities to ensure policies are followed.
• Review payment request forms for completeness and approvals.
• Liaise with destination offices, Treasury and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor cash balances and escalate unusual movements when needed.
• Assist in updating SOPs and governance records.
• Participate in process reviews and drive improvements.
