Digital Assets is a multi-disciplinary team within our Global Banking & Markets Division focused on defining and executing Goldman Sachs' digital assets and blockchain efforts firmwide, including potential initiatives in the cryptocurrency space. We cover a wide spectrum of initiatives in the digital space and offer the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a balance of strategy and execution, alongside interaction with teams across Goldman Sachs and external players in this space. We seek an outstanding individual to play an integral role in defining and executing the firm's digital assets strategy, with ample opportunities to grow a broad skillset at the forefront of innovation in financial markets.

A member of the Digital Assets team will have a broad coverage across traditional financial products that offer exposure to digital assets and blockchain technology solutions. Daily functions include: cryptocurrency-linked trading products, market research, and product development, among others.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

1. Work as an integral team member focusing on the timely execution of new firm activities and products in the digital assets space, from ideation to strategy, testing, and implementation.
2. Lead engagement with local GS Sales and clients regarding Goldman Sachs’ digital assets product offerings.
3. Collaborate across the firm to understand business needs and identify opportunities where blockchain technology and digital asset products can add value.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with industry counterparts to stay informed of developments.
5. Represent the firm externally with banks, FinTechs, vendors, and technology companies to develop new digital solutions.
6. Deepen understanding of digital assets technologies and market players to identify collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

1. 2-4 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in markets, sales, or trading.
2. Keen interest in financial and digital asset markets.
3. Motivated team player capable of adapting in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail.
5. Ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
6. Proven ability to convert ambiguous ideas into structured strategies to drive opportunities.
7. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, balancing strategic and tactical tasks.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (with cryptocurrency data), and familiar with Bloomberg terminal.
