Job summary

Sirva Global Mobility is seeking a Global Assignment Consultant to support corporate clients managing international relocations. You will coordinate assignment services, interpret policies, and guide assignees throughout the assignment lifecycle.

This role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, provider management, and HR contacts, ensuring a smooth, compliant experience for employees and their families while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Two years relocation experience or three years in customer service
• Knowledge of international assignment management and global business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team while being self-starting
• Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Overseas work/living experience preferred
• Education: High school diploma required; college degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of assignment management services per client policies
• Interpret client policies and advise assignees based on country-specific needs
• Provide ongoing consultation during the international assignment
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a positive assignee experience
• Manage Global Certified Provider communication and service quality
• Interface with HR contacts on relocation issues
• Assist with policy exceptions and exception management
• Provide status updates and complete client projects as requested
• Complete other tasks to support Manager, Client and Assignees

As a Global Assignment Consultant (GAC) you will provide essential support to our corporate clients in managing the designated client’s personnel who are relocating for an international assignment. The GAC serves as the primary point of coordination for international assignees for the delivery of various assignment management services offered under their employer’s international assignment policies and procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee the delivery of assignment management services, including policy counselling, destination services, household goods shipping, immigration, departure services and expense management.
• Interpret the designated clients’ international assignment policies and procedures and evaluate different options to provide advice and consultation to international assignees based on their needs and country-specific requirements
• Provide on-going consultation to the assignee during the entire length of the international assignment.
• Coordinate with all internal departments/functions to ensure a successful assignee experience
• Manage Global Certified Provider communication process and ensure quality of service delivery
• Communicate/interface with the client’s HR contacts on relocation/assignment issues impacting the employee and family
• Assist with exception management, including recommendations on specific exceptions to policy
• Provide assignee status updates, keeping the client abreast of issues and offering solutions as issues arise, and completing client projects as requested.
• Complete other tasks/responsibilities as required to provide effective support to Manager, Client and Assignees.

• Strong preference for overseas work/living experience.
• Education and Certification Requirements: High school diploma required; College degree preferred.
