Job summary

HOSHI TECH VENTURE PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to support rapid global expansion, drafting and negotiating GPU infrastructure leases, Enterprise SLAs, and MSAs for cloud services, while guiding cross-border data transfer and compliance across regions.

You will partner with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, oversee AI governance and data sovereignty, and manage external counsel for international matters, ensuring pragmatic legal advice aligns with business growth.

Qualifications

• Education: LL.B. or J.D. with active admission to practice in a major jurisdiction (Singapore, US, UK, or equivalent).
• Experience: 4–8 years in top-tier law firm and in-house at cloud/HCI providers, data centers, or high-growth tech.
• Domain: cloud/software contracts, data privacy laws (GDPR/PDPA), and export controls related to AI/hardware.
• Skills: negotiation, risk assessment, and ability to translate legal issues into pragmatic guidance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate B2B agreements including GPU IaaS contracts, SLAs, and MSAs.
• Streamline contracting processes with Sales for enterprise clients and hyperscalers.
• Advise on AI governance, data sovereignty, cross-border data transfers, and regional localization laws.
• Negotiate hardware, data center, and supply agreements with vendors and operators.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Security, and Engineering on DPAs and incident response policies.
