Job description

Overview:
Responsible for supporting US GAAP and local statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance across multiple entities. Requires strong accounting knowledge, stakeholder coordination, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Accounting:

• Prepare statutory financial statements with required disclosures.
• Reconcile US vs. local GAAP ledgers and post adjustments.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and review periodically.
• Develop SOPs and interpret local accounting standards.
• Coordinate statutory audits with auditors and internal teams.
• Manage audit timelines and statutory reporting calendar.
• Support local tax provisions and filings, including misc. statutory reports.

Tax Compliance:

• Ensure timely tax input submission and review.
• Reconcile tax returns to ledgers; process adjustments.
• Assist with VAT queries, audits, and reconciliations.
• Track tax payments to mitigate delays and risks.
• Maintain ledgers under US and local GAAP.
• Work with BPO on complex accounting areas (e.g., fixed assets, intercompany).
• Prepare affiliate financials and variance analysis.
• Support transfer pricing and product costing activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in statutory and US GAAP reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
