Purpose
  • APAC Business Development: To target, deliver, and implement new business from new target and existing customers.
  • Commercial Excellence and Focus: To own and develop commercial relationships, account development plans, and account profitability with the assigned customers.
  • Supply Chain solutions and Healthcare optimization: Strategize and deliver end-to-end multidivisional products.
Key Accountabilities
APAC Business Development
  • Deliver business growth targets from existing clients and successfully onboard new clients in the Healthcare vertical.
  • Continuously assess the market and target new clients in line with defined segmentation.
  • Develop collaborative growth opportunities and leverage existing relationships within the wider DSV network and global Healthcare teams.
  • Prepare and submit professional customer presentations, proposals, and RFI/RFQ responses.
  • Ensure effective use of DSV CRM system.
  • Collaborate with product teams for successful implementation of new business.
  • Own standard trading terms, commercial agreements, and compliance documents.
  • Develop pricing strategies with product and vertical leads.
  • Regularly review the Healthcare logistics market and competitive landscape for new opportunities.
  • Identify and develop product enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.
  • Enhance the Healthcare specialty network and interactions within DSV.
Commercial Excellence and Focus
  • Lead data-driven client review processes with clear inputs and outputs.
  • Present service and cost improvement solutions proactively.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational and commercial issues within the region.
  • Proactively promote DSV's value to all customer levels.
  • Negotiate rates with customers.
  • Conduct monthly reviews to maintain service levels and address issues.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews to provide market intelligence and performance updates.
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities with customers.
Supply Chain Solutions and Healthcare Optimization
  • Develop the supply chain solutions product in systems, capabilities, and scope.
  • Market the supply chain solutions approach as an entry point for customer engagement.
  • Further develop the value of Healthcare specialization within the network.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and satisfaction through professionally managed projects.
Person Specification

The candidate must be commercially savvy, inquisitive, and a change advocate. They should be well-organized, positive, diplomatic, and possess integrity. Ability to operate at various levels internally and externally is essential. Strong leadership, target-driven, self-starting, and creative qualities are required. Excellent communication skills and PC literacy are necessary.

  • Willingness to develop Supply Chain knowledge and Healthcare shipping operations expertise.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Experience in Healthcare logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain industries.
  • Deep understanding of Healthcare supply chains, QHMS, and multi-modal logistics.
  • High commercial acumen with solutions selling and project management skills.
  • Ability to interface at senior levels and work independently.
  • Competence in reviewing and designing supply chain improvements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in winning new business and managing major contracts.
