Job summary

Xiaomi Technology Singapore is seeking an experienced operations and backend engineer to join our global platform team. You will participate in 24x7 on‑call rotations, help detect and respond to online faults, and work with R&D to design scalable backend architectures.

You will also build automation tools to reduce manual tasks, optimize service management, and drive cost efficiency while communicating effectively in English with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Unix/Linux, Bash, TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Experience with at least one language (C++, Go, Java, Python) and Linux shell development.
• Good teamwork, responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and learning/innovation.
• Business fluent in English; Chinese Mandarin a plus (oral).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Xiaomi's global business with 24x7 on-call rotation; respond to online faults.
• Design backend architecture with R&D; realize distributed operation and maintenance; ensure cluster availability and stability; implement O&M solutions.
• Design and implement automation tools or systems for O&M to reduce manual interventions and manage O&M systems.
• Cost control and optimization through technical means; improve service management efficiency via tooling and processes.
