Job summary

Goldbell Leasing Pte Ltd is seeking a General Ledger & Reporting Lead to oversee the GL function, ensure accurate month-end and year-end close, and maintain strong financial controls. You will lead a skilled team, support audits, and collaborate with finance and business units to uphold the integrity of financial records.

The role requires 5–7 years of accounting experience (2+ years in a supervisory role), hands-on GL, reporting expertise, IFRS/SFRS and GST knowledge, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience in General Ledger, month-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS/SFRS, GST requirements and financial controls.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting audits (internal and external).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the General Ledger team in day-to-day activities and month-end closing.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments and provisions before posting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Ensure intercompany balances/transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation and related reconciliations.
• Support the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reports.
• Ensure GL processes comply with IFRS, SFRS, GST and company policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and identify process improvements.
• Review GL and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and controls.
