About Team Swish and SEAJBL
Team SWISH (Strong Women In Sports & Hoops) is SEAJBL’s community based basketball initiative for girls in Singapore, focused on developing female youth athletes through structured training, games, and community engagement.
Your leadership, though finding and engaging girls who are interested in basketball, via social baskestball events, with provided food and drinks, along other fun and productive events is the backbone of growing further basketball programs and opportunities for girls to participate in a safe and enjoyable sports environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Participant Recruitment Attract active participants through outreach, social media, and community partnerships. Maintain an up-to-date database (platform provided).
- Schedule & Logistics Management Create and manage events for periodic socials sessions and other approved activities. Coordinate participant check-in and attendance.
- Participant Engagement & Recognition Monitor volunteer satisfaction and keep them motivated. Organize appreciation activities—certificates, social highlights, recognition events.
- Communication & Liaising Serve as primary point of contact working towards program expectations. Liaise between participants, SEAJBL staff, and other stakeholders.
- Record-keeping & Reporting Track participant contributions, and participation metrics. Provide impact and operational reports to program leadership or SEAJBL.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience coordinating and growing participationi or leading community/sports initiatives (formal or informal).
- Passion for basketball and youth development; experience working or coaching youth / girls is a strong advantage.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools including Google Drive platforms.
- Flexibility to adapt to weekends or evenings as needed to support events.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks proactively.
