The Company

My client is a growing company in the Technology industry, keen to hire a hands-on and driven talent to oversee the Finance function, including supporting in fundraising/ financing. The successful candidate is someone flexible, able to get hands dirty and ready to build things from scratch.

Requirements

· SaaS industry experience (familiarity with revenue recognition in SaaS business model)

· Strong experience in managing key ASEAN markets

· Advantageous with Bahasa language proficiency as the role will focus on expanding the market and liaising with local stakeholders

· Ability to oversee full spectrum finance function, including Accounting, Strategic Planning, Analysis, Process & System improvement initiatives, Inventory management as well as Fundraising/ Financing

· Experience in setting up finance processes and driving expansion plans is highly advantageous

· Traits:Hands-on, flexible, switched on, able to roll up one’s sleeves, ready to build things from scratch, composed, good communication skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Budget

$18,000 – 20,000 per month + Bonus

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance & accounting responsibilities including finance operations, revenue recognition, reporting, strategic planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, tax, cashflow management, internal control, audit etc. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders in driving strategic activities to support in business performance and expansion. You will be able to build things from scratch, offer value creation, and provide finance expertise in areas such as debt and equity financing, identifying opportunities and risks, and market expansion.

You will closely support the senior leadership team, manage expectations and positive relationships with Board of Directors, shareholders, investors, senior management, and play an active role in supporting the MD in growing the business. You will also evaluate current processes and proactively drive streamlining and improvement initiatives, as well as aspects relating to internal controls.
