Job summary

The Goethe-Institut Singapore seeks a qualified teacher of German as a Foreign Language, with responsibilities spanning CEFR-aligned instruction for children, youth, and adults, including exam administration and course development. Qualifications

• Native-level German proficiency (C2) required.
• University degree and postgraduate qualification in German as a Foreign Language.
• Teaching experience with children, youth, and adults across formats.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Outlook and Teams.
• Knowledge of digital media/AI tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach German as a Foreign Language to CEFR levels for children, youth, and adults.
• Plan and follow up on lessons, manage online spaces and related tasks.
• Administer and document end-of-course assessments.
• Provide learning guidance and communicate with learners and parents.
• Administer Goethe-Institut examinations and participate in examiner training.
