Job summary

OLA PARTY PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a German Curriculum Designer to craft curriculum systems, course structures, and instructional content for language learners.

You will develop exercises covering vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading and speaking; draft example sentences, explanations, practice questions, and feedback; and collaborate with the product team to convert German concepts into bite-sized mobile lessons. CEFR C2 and a related degree are required.

• CEFR C2 level proficiency in German
• No minimum full-time work experience required; demonstrate via coursework, teaching, tutoring, freelancing
• Ability to judge German expressions for correctness, naturalness, and context appropriateness
• Strong interest in curriculum design, SLA, and EdTech
• High attention to detail with information organization and content management
• Professional English communication to collaborate with the Singapore product team

Working Hours: 10.00am to 7.00pm

Working Days: Monday to Friday

1. Design the German curriculum system, course structures, and instructional content.
2. Develop learning exercises covering vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, speaking, and situational dialogues.

4. Collaborate with the product team to transform German language concepts into bite-sized lessons suited for mobile learning.
5. Design course units, exercise sequences, and review materials.
6. Assist in building, maintaining, and refining the German language concept database and question bank.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Linguistics, German Language, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. CEFR C2 level proficiency or equivalent mastery in contemporary standard German (Due to required to write, design, and validate accurate instructional materials and curriculum for German language learners).
3. No minimum full-time work experience required. Relevant skills may be demonstrated through university coursework, capstone projects, teaching, tutoring, freelancing, or paid work experience.
4. Ability to accurately judge the correctness, naturalness, and appropriateness of German expressions in specific contexts.
5. Strong interest in curriculum design, second language acquisition (SLA), and educational technology (EdTech).
6. High attention to detail, with strong abilities in information organization, content management, and execution.
7. Professional English communication skills to collaborate daily with the Singapore product team and draft internal documentation in English.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in textbook editing, curriculum development, lesson planning, or assessment item writing.
2. Familiarity with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or foundational SLA theories.
3. Holds a Goethe‑Zertifikat C2, telc Deutsch C2, or ÖSD Zertifikat C2 certificate.
4. Familiarity with mobile learning products or AI‑assisted content development workflows.
