Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking an Executive Engineer / Engineer, Geotechnical and Tunnels to support planning and design development for road and rail projects in Singapore. The role includes planning site investigations, feasibility studies, reviewing submissions, and performing geotechnical design for major infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in geotechnical design and construction of deep excavations and / or tunnels.
• Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with strong relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Involved in planning and design development of road and rail projects.
• Plan and manage site investigation works, conduct feasibility and engineering studies.
• Review design submissions and carry out geotechnical design for land transport infrastructure.
• Manage site investigation contracts and design consultants, and conduct project safety reviews.
• Perform construction audits for major infrastructure projects and update engineering standards.
• Provide technical specialist support to other divisions in planning, design, construction, asset maintenance and regulatory functions.
