Job summary

Land Transport Authority in Singapore seeks an Engineer/Principal Assistant Engineer, Geotechnical & Tunnels to lead site investigation activities for critical land transport infrastructure. You will manage geotechnical investigations, ensure safety and technical standards, and oversee audits across sites and laboratories.

The role requires knowledge in civil engineering or geology, plus experience in site investigations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or equivalent.
• Experience in managing site investigation or geotechnical works.
• Experience in marine site investigations and approval processes; familiarity with Robotic Automation Process and AI tools is a plus.

What the role is:

ENGINEER /PRINCIPAL ASST ENGINEER, GEOTECHNICAL & TUNNELS

What you will be working on:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage site investigation works for critical land transport infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex geotechnical investigations whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical excellence. You will manage and oversee operations to maintain exceptional geotechnical and safety standards throughout site investigation works. Your role encompasses facilitating pre-approval processes and work instructions, reviewing technical proposals and project schedules, and conducting comprehensive site and laboratory audits. You will also monitor project progress, address safety concerns promptly, and review site investigation factual reports and Contractor claims. Additional project-related and administrative duties will be assigned as required.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or equivalent
• Team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in managing site investigation or geotechnical works will be preferred
• Experience in marine site investigation works and knowledge of the relevant approval processes, or familiarity with Robotic Automation Process and AI tools, will be an advantage
