Job summary

Aurecon in Singapore is seeking a passionate Geotechnical Engineer to join the Transport, Land & Water team. You will work alongside a team of specialists to deliver design and feasibility work for building and infrastructure projects.

The role focuses on geotechnical design, site investigations, and collaboration with clients and authorities, with emphasis on continuous learning, professional development, and applying modern codes and tools such as Plaxis.

Qualifications

• Recognised Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor/Master’s Degree) from university recognized by Singapore PE board.
• Sound understanding and application of Singapore design codes, Eurocodes and local practices and commonly used geotechnical analysis software including Plaxis.
• Energetic, proactive, reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of customer service principles.
• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in engineering consulting, with a particular focus on geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Geotechnical Engineers with geotechnical design calculations, foundation design, and tunnelling.
• Prepare geotechnical design calculations, drawings and Authority submissions.
• Review instrumentation and monitoring data.
• Submit plans and reports to Clients and Authorities on time.
• Attend meetings and site walks for project coordination.
