Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist for a renowned Tech MNC. The role starts as a contract and requires immediate availability.

You will collect, process, and analyze geo data, lead mapping initiatives regionally, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality geo data to clients. Qualifications include CS/IT or geography-related discipline, 2-3 years in geospatial data processing, proficiency in G-suite, and strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Geography-related space.
• 2-3 years of data processing experience in geospatial analysis.
• Proficient in G-suite (GDocs, GSheets, etc).
• Passionate about maps with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven with ability to drive continuous improvements.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented and metrics-driven; understands maps influence product & customer experience.
• Knowledge of LiDAR or High Precision Mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect data using proprietary software & internal tools.
• Monitor, analyze & grade large geo data sets with regular validation.
• Coordinate daily operations of the mapping team for timely delivery of high-quality geo data.
• Conduct quality checks, translation & transcription where applicable.
• Lead with cross-functional teams to drive regional projects.
• Support team lead in data analysis and reporting.

• Strong project management, cross-department communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, metrics-driven, and understands how maps influence the product & customer experience.
• Experience/knowledge in relevant technologies eg. LiDAR, High Precision Mapping or related skills will be a plus
