Job description

Element Geologist Position - Singapore

Element has an opportunity for a Geologist in Singapore. This site-based role involves designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, managing scheduling and permits for on-site installation, and overseeing setup and commissioning of monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate soil investigation projects, supervise borehole drilling, and collect soil and rock samples for laboratory testing.
  2. Conduct in-situ tests (PMT, VST, PBT, PKT, etc.) according to schedule, perform risk analysis, and ensure safety compliance.
  3. Manage daily site operations, attend meetings, plan and supervise soil investigations, and prepare reports.
  4. Ensure project completion aligns with management targets, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or geology; certification in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA); SEC(K) higher Skill is advantageous. Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in major infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Physically fit for challenging working conditions.
  • Strong focus on quality, determined, and capable of working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.
