Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Generator Service Engineer (Genset / Electrical / Mechanical) to join our field service team at Tuas Crescent. You will perform testing, servicing and routine maintenance of generator sets and set up equipment for testing and reports.

You will troubleshoot generator issues, plan service and testing schedules, complete documentation, and attend customer job sites islandwide as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant servicing or maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience servicing generator sets / gensets is preferred.
• Able to perform testing, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Able to work independently at customer sites.

Job description

• Position: Generator Service Engineer (Genset / Electrical / Mechanical)




• Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)




• Working hours: 5.5 days, Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.15pm), Saturday half day




• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3800 + AWS + 14 days annual leave + Medical




• Duration: Permanent




• Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform testing, servicing and routine maintenance of generator sets.




• Set up equipment for testing and prepare service/test reports.




• Troubleshoot generator issues and support repair or rectification work.




• Conduct scheduled maintenance and ensure equipment is properly maintained.




• Plan and coordinate service and testing schedules.

Requirements:

• Around 1 to 3 years of relevant servicing or maintenance experience.




• Hands-on experience servicing generator sets / gensets is preferred.




• Able to perform testing, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.




• Able to work independently at customer sites.




• Valid Class 3 driving licence will be advantageous for site deployment.
