Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic partners and bridge frontier AI products with production-ready solutions. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic workflows directly with partner teams, tackling data readiness and state-management challenges in customer environments.

You’ll help drive Google Cloud’s AI roadmap by delivering scalable deployments and white-glove deployment of complex systems, collaborating with partner teams and DeepMind

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in Python or similar.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience building data pipelines with vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience delivering production-grade AI-driven solutions to customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic AI partner projects to transition prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for AI systems.
• Identify patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and propose reusable modules.
• Co-build with partner engineering teams to implement best practices.
• Help partners build their own agentic delivery capabilities and ROI-focused engagements.
