Job summary

FPT Software in Singapore seeks an experienced AI Engineer to design and deliver AI and machine learning solutions across business units. You will translate user needs into technical requirements, build deployed AI applications, and integrate with data science models on our portfolio platform.

You will work with cloud services (AWS), understand LLM concepts, and implement scalable APIs and frontend interfaces. Collaboration with stakeholders and a focus on security are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, ML/DS or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of LLM concepts, context windows, embeddings and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding techniques.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, DeepAgents).
• Full-stack development experience: backend (FastAPI/Flask/Express) and frontend (React/Vue/HTML/CSS/TypeScript).
• Docker/Kubernetes for deploying production-grade apps.
• Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with prompt engineering, context engineering and harness techniques.
• Proficient with Git, SQL, languages like TypeScript, C#.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to identify priority AI use cases.
• Develop solutions using data science and Generative AI to create business value.
• Build and deploy AI applications and data science models (in-house agentic platform).
• Data wrangling: preprocessing, cleaning and feature engineering.
• Develop backend APIs and services for AI model deployment and integration.
• Create frontend interfaces and user experiences for AI-powered apps.
• Review and fix security vulnerabilities in deployed systems.
• Research emerging AI/data science techniques and assess relevance for adoption.
