Job summary

TBS Environmental Services is hiring for a Waste Collection Operative in Singapore. You will collect waste from bins, dispose of it into refuse trucks, and keep trucks and washing areas clean, supporting daily operations.

You will assist in route planning, perform basic equipment maintenance such as greasing and fueling, and sort waste and recyclables to improve efficiency. A forklift or excavator license is preferred to help handle equipment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a forklift or excavator license to support equipment handling and operational efficiency

Responsibilities

• Collect waste from garbage bins and dispose of it into refuse trucks safely and efficiently
• Wash and clean garbage trucks and maintain the cleanliness of the washing area daily
• Assist in planning collection routes and identifying waste collection points to optimize operations
• Support drivers by performing basic maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment and topping up fuel and hydraulic fluids
• Sort waste and recyclable materials accurately within the warehouse and during collection
• Sweep and clean waste and dry leaves within company premises, including the backyard, to maintain a clean environment
