Job Description

Work Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 4 pm.

Location: Regional Hub (Hougang), Near Kovan MRT.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, and cook a variety of foods for MINDSFOOD catering services, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.
  • Daily preparation of tea breaks and lunches for clients and staff.
  • Ensure all food and beverage preparations comply with menus, industry standards, and safety guidelines, including SFA requirements.
  • Manage inventory, including purchasing, stock rotation, and storage, to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Assist in food production for special events, ensuring timely and accurate preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the kitchen area.
  • Support equipment maintenance and report any faults immediately.
Kitchen and Equipment Maintenance
  • Support safe work habits and environment.
  • Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment, walls, and floors.
  • Ensure refrigeration units are clean and functioning properly.
  • Report faulty equipment promptly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Primary School education.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and participate actively.
  • Good personal hygiene.

  • Basic English communication skills.
