A global engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a General Technician (Blending and Polishing) to perform skilled processes for gas turbine component repairs. Candidates should have completed secondary education, with a Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering preferred. Responsibilities include blending/polishing, operating machinery, and ensuring product quality. This role requires a basic command of English and the ability to work shifts.

Essential Responsibilities :
This role performs a combination of tasks, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform blending and polishing on metal and coating surfaces
- Perform manual drilling in the cooling hole re-opening process
- Operate test equipment such as airflow, waterflow and moment weighing
- Operate machines such as robotic polisher, shot peening and cold spraying
- Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules
- Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions
- Support other area of work as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Completed Secondary level or higher education. Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- 2 years of working experience in the related field preferred. Candidates without relevant experience may be considered.
- Experienced in using pneumatic/powered hand tools
- Basic command of English (speak and read)
- Able to perform rotating shift work
