Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives for the sale of vegetables/fruits and other agricultural products imported from China to major supermarkets or agents in Singapore.

• Handle import, including documentations and licenses.

• Proactively build and nurture network, representing the company and establishing key connections to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.

• Manage accounts and maintain up-to-date customer information.

• Liaise with store managers and buyers.

• To perform any other duties as and when assigned.

Requirement:

• Must have minimum 4 years experience in purchasing for major supermarkets.

• Able to work independently to achieve targeted annual sales.

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

• Knowledge of Mandarin is essential to liaise with Chinese counterparts.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Able to work the occasional weekend or travel a few days a year.

Duration / Working hours:

• Permanent

• Monday- Friday; 44 hours per week
