A global technology company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Sales Manager to formulate project development strategies and lead a team in the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, strong leadership skills, and exceptional communication abilities, particularly in both English and Japanese. Frequent travel within the region or to Japan is required, and the role involves managing financials and strategic partnerships.
Job Description:
·Formulate sales and service project development strategies for in-house product aligned to organisational strategy to capitalise on potential project opportunities and authorise proposed projects based on feasibility and organisation's capability and resources
· Strategies project development practices to attain the organisation's profitability and sustainability goals including recurring business creation
· Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, especially regional business development activities and internal Initiatives for project estimation and cash-flow projection, milestone and required resources
· Lead regular high-level communication with Japan’s factory and sales department for project development strategy and planning
· Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships at local and regional levels.
· Manage financial and budgetary requirements of sales and service operations, continuous improvement and change management initiatives for time, cost and quality improvements.
· Manage integrated project plans for project execution, risk management, quality control and safety management
· Drive team performance to achieve goals and Identify areas for technical and business management training and development
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sales.
· At least 15 years of sales and management experience in semiconductor industry will be advantages.
· Strong leadership skills, with the capacity to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across diverse departments.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and key stakeholders.
· Strong analytical and data-driven approach to strategic planning and execution.
· Ability to communicate fluently with HQ’s factory, business partners in Japanese both verbally and in writing is preferred.
· Frequent travel within the region or to Japan is required
