Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee and manage a team responsible for the maintenance and operations of buildings and common property. In this role, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the estates, uphold high service standards, and drive continuous improvements to enhance the living environment for residents.
Lead and oversee a team in the management and maintenance of buildings and common proper
Administer tenancy and lease-related matters where applicable
Manage and control the collection of charges and fees, as well as the use of common property
Review and evaluate existing policies, practices, and activities to propose improvements and plan for future development
Prepare and review specifications and contractual documents for tender exercises
Conduct regular performance evaluations of term contractors
Conduct feasibility studies for projects, make recommendations, and implement approved estate improvement initiatives
Maintain close liaison with councillors, residents, grassroots organizations, the Community Development Council (CDC), government agencies, and statutory boards to enhance Town Council operations
Assess and respond to requests from grassroots leaders and residents concerning amenities, facilities, or proposed improvement works
Provide secretarial support to the Town Council Standing Committee as Secretary/Assistant Secretary when required
Manage annual budgets and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
A recognized degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Building, Project, or Facilities Management, or equivalent professional qualifications.
Minimum 5 years of relevant management experience within a Town Council or similar environment.
