General Manager – Mobile App Startup

Company Overview

The Company is a fast-growing mobile application startup that launched in January 2025. With early traction and a clear growth path, we are now expanding our operations. The company is founder-led and operates on a lean model, working with a core internal team and several outsourced specialists across technology, marketing, and support. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager (GM) to drive business expansion, operational efficiency, and strategic leadership.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Founders and CEO, the General Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, leading key functions, and ensuring scalable growth. This role requires hands-on leadership across business operations, technology coordination, and go-to-market strategies, with a strong focus on managing lean in-house resources and a global network of outsourced teams.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Strategy

· • Lead daily operations, aligning them with long-term strategic objectives.

· • Build and continuously improve lean, scalable processes across business functions.

· • Develop and monitor KPIs across departments for performance management.

Team Management

· • Manage a small in-house team across operations, marketing, and support.

· • Lead, coordinate, and ensure performance of outsourced teams including developers, marketing agencies, and external consultants.

· • Oversee partner relationships, service level agreements (SLAs), and contract compliance.

Financial Oversight

· • Oversee company cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance.

· • Work with finance support to prepare reports, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.

Product & Technology Coordination

· • Liaise with the tech team (mostly outsourced) to prioritize and execute development cycles.

· • Ensure timely delivery of features, bug fixes, and product enhancements.

Marketing & Growth

· • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and execute digital marketing strategies.

· • Oversee user acquisition, engagement campaigns, and performance tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communication, or a related field.

· 2+ years of leadership experience in a startup or digital-first business.

· Proven experience managing or coordinating outsourced or remote teams.

· Strong understanding of digital marketing, user engagement, and growth metrics.

· Sound knowledge of lean startup methodology and scalable business operations.

· Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Existing network or connections in the digital/tech ecosystem is a plus.
