About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our team as an Area General Manager, Master Franchise for our APAC Region, based in Singapore. The role involves overseeing overall business performance and managing relationships with master franchisees across assigned markets. You will be responsible for driving sales, operations, expansion, and contractual compliance through strategic leadership and effective influence, both externally with franchisees and internally with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the President Asia Pacific to develop and implement strategic plans. Provide vision and guidance on initiatives to meet sales and expansion targets. Analyze market trends to support franchise network growth. Work with internal departments to address franchisee needs.
  • Driving Performance: Monitor and evaluate franchise performance using key metrics. Provide insights for improvement and resolve conflicts affecting franchisee operations.
  • Prioritization and Alignment: Partner with franchise leadership to prioritize impactful areas, ensure alignment, and conduct quarterly reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coaching and Management: Guide franchisees to build sales and profitability, and support sustainable development planning.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for franchise partners. Build trust-based relationships, facilitate communication, and share best practices.
  • Team Management and Leadership: Lead internal teams, manage direct reports, and coordinate cross-functional support to achieve business goals.
  • Standards and Compliance: Ensure franchisees adhere to brand standards and contractual obligations. Conduct evaluations and address compliance issues.
  • New Market Opening: Lead onboarding and market opening processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Over 10 years’ experience in QSR or similar industry.
  • At least 6 years in supervisory roles.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of franchise operations, legal frameworks, and market dynamics.
  • Analytical, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Willing to travel frequently to meet partners and oversee operations.
