Job description

Havas Media Singapore is looking for a General Manager / Head of Digital to support our teams on the overall performance of the agency, manage client relationships, lead the digital transformation and strategy of the agency and develop and implement the strategic direction of the agency’s operations in line with our organisation goals.

This individual will also oversee operations, manage budgets, lead teams and ensure client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop annual business plans and strategic plans in line with agency goals and priorities to deliver profitability and growth
• Manage budgets, ensuring profitability, and analyse financial performance
• Drive new business pitches to grow the agency’s portfolio and/or new business proposals to existing clients when necessary
• Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key senior clients, understanding client needs and ensuring client satisfaction
• Define and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with the agency's vision, client objectives, and industry trends, while identifying new growth opportunities
• Initiate and implement new digital tech, tools, solutions, processes and partnerships which grow both agency and client business
• Responsible for the digital business by tracking and optimizing revenue and agency resources
• Generate fame for agency through participation in awards, social publicity and thought-leadership
• Continuously review internal team structures to ensure that it is optimized
• Ensure excellence in client service and planning standards
• Collaborate with different business units to identify organic growth opportunities
• Overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows, and resolving operational issues
• Lead and motivate a team of professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support
• Build a culture that is cohesive, collaborative and inclusive

Skills and Requirements

• Proven track record over 10+ years’ experience, ideally in a network media agency
• Be able to manage and motivate employees, clients and publishers at all levels
• Thoroughly understand the Singapore media and advertising landscape, including trends, platforms, technologies and best practices
• Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies for business growth and to deliver measurable results
• Proven collaborator within a network, who can navigate and influence across teams and structures
• Strategic, creative and Innovative mindset with the ability to think critically, analyze data, and derive actionable insights to inform decision-making and optimize campaigns
• Has highly developed commercial and business acumen
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills as well as compelling presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey digital concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
