Job description

Job Details

1. Report to the Chairman, and with the support of the finance team, ensure the timely delivery of financial reports (including the preparation of monthly/quarterly consolidated management accounts).

2. Work closely with the finance teams of subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports by subsidiaries and affiliated companies.

3. Provide technical financial support related to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Chinese Accounting Standards (PRC GAAP), and listing regulations.

4. Coordinate with various departments to review the budgets, forecasts, and business plans of subsidiaries, and prepare the group’s consolidated budget, forecast, and business plan.

5. Deliver professional training to the group’s finance team and act as a mentor by offering guidance and support to direct reports.

6. Oversee compliance matters related to current accounting standards and other regulatory requirements.

7. Recommend and implement effective internal control systems, financial procedures, and processes to strengthen compliance, improve account reconciliation, and enhance the quality and timeliness of reporting.

8. Prepare and review financial documents for internal group use or external distribution.

9. Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, tax advisors, bankers, legal counsel, company secretaries, and other professionals on matters related to the group’s business and operations.

10. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

  2. Over 12 years of experience in finance, auditing, or other related professional fields.

  3. Extensive experience in comprehensive financial management and internal controls within large conglomerates, as well as the internet or e-commerce industry.

  4. Proven experience in financial reporting for large publicly listed companies, investor relations, and various financing channels (both equity and debt).

  5. Strong capabilities in cost management, risk control, financial and business analysis, and managing large finance teams.

  6. Deep understanding of capital markets, with a clear grasp of how corporate financing, investment, and financial disclosures send signals to the market, along with well-defined strategies and planning for market capitalization management.

  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational coordination, communication abilities, and the capability to resolve complex problems.

  8. Holder of relevant certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CFA Level III, or Senior Accountant qualifications.

  9. Demonstrated experience in managing cross-border teams and leading large-scale finance teams.

  10. Fluent in English and Chinese to liaise with China team members.
