ob Title: General Manager Civil Engineer (Construction)Location: PuneExperience Required: 1220 years in construction project managementIndustry: Construction / Real EstateQualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Masters Degree preferred)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager (Civil) to lead and manage all aspects of our construction projects from planning and execution to delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-value residential, commercial, or infrastructure developments with strong leadership, technical, and strategic planning skills.Key Responsibilities: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple construction projects across locations. Oversee project timelines, budgets, resources, quality control, and safety compliance. Ensure strict adherence to structural design, specifications, and statutory regulations. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, site teams, and regulatory bodies. Develop and implement SOPs, construction schedules, material management systems. Review and approve project budgets, BOQs, and cost estimations. Drive contract management, vendor negotiations, and subcontractor performance. Manage site progress reports, risk assessments, and timely escalation of issues. Lead a team of engineers, project managers, and support staff to ensure smooth execution. Report to senior management on KPIs, cash flows, and project profitability.Key Skills Required: Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering, construction techniques & quality standards. Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.) Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
