The successful candidate must be highly proficient in Business Chinese, with the ability to engage directly with senior counterparts from the OEM, manage reporting lines, and translate brand direction into high-performance outcomes in a local context.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Brand Leadership

  • Drive the launch, positioning, and expansion of a Chinese automotive brand within the Singapore market.

  • Translate the principal’s global strategy into a locally adapted, high-impact market plan.

  • Serve as cultural and business bridge between local operations and Chinese OEM headquarters.

2. Principal and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise closely with senior management at the Chinese OEM; provide regular market intelligence, performance reports, and strategic proposals.

  • Ensure full alignment with principal’s standards for brand representation, customer experience, and compliance.

  • Navigate cross-border decision-making processes with cultural tact and efficiency.

3. Sales, Marketing & Customer Strategy

  • Build and lead a results-driven sales team; define KPIs and sales targets in alignment with brand aspirations.

  • Develop localized marketing campaigns that reflect the brand’s luxury positioning and resonate with local consumer values.

  • Lead business development efforts including fleet, private client, and government sales.

4. Operational Excellence & Aftersales

  • Establish and refine retail operations including showroom setup, customer journey, vehicle allocation, and order-to-delivery processes.

  • Collaborate with aftersales leadership to ensure service levels meet luxury expectations while maintaining profitability.

  • Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and business controls.

  • Drive operational KPIs and deliver full P&L accountability.

5. Organizational Building & Culture

  • Create a culture that reflects the brand’s prestige, customer orientation, and operational discipline.
