Job description

Motor-East Pte Ltd is a premier automotive dealership specializing in new BYD electric vehicles (EVs) and a wide range of pre-owned vehicles. Our mission is to deliver exceptional service, innovative solutions, and sustainable mobility options to our valued customers.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Directs the overall after-sales operations of workshop, customer care and claims, to ensure maximum performance.
  2. To achieve company’s goals in revenue, operational and customer service performance.
  3. Review and manage operating procedures and workflow of the various departments in the after-sales operations to ensure smooth and efficient flow of the activities from beginning to closure.
  4. Allocates budget sources and sets a strategic plan to achieve the company’s growth through a steady stream of profit and loss management.
  5. Develop and maintain positive customer relations, professional relationships with adjusters and insurance company representatives.
  6. Ensure that the workshop complies with all local regulations related to automotive services, environmental standards, and workplace safety.
  7. Stay updated on the latest EV technologies and integrate relevant tools and software to improve workshop efficiency and service quality.
  8. Plan the procurement of parts, tools, and equipment to ensure timely and cost-effective on procurement of necessary resources.
  9. Plan training programs for employees including technical training for mechanics to keep them updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  10. Develop strategies to retain skilled employees and maintain a positive work environment through fostering culture of teamwork and professionalism.
  11. Establish a system for collecting customer feedback and use it to identify areas for improvement in service quality. Implement changes and monitor customer satisfaction levels.
  12. Manage the technology infrastructure of the workshop, including computer systems, diagnostic equipment, and other technology tools necessary for efficient operations.
  13. Foster a culture of continual improvement within the workshop, encouraging employees to suggest and implement innovative ideas for better efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  14. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize workplace accidents, ensure employee safety and protect company assets.
  15. Develop contingency plans for emergencies or unexpected events that may impact workshop operations.
Job Requirements:
  1. At least 10 years of extensive experience in similar capacity.
  2. University degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  3. Strong leader with good communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  4. Knowledgeable in identifying vehicles faults and provide solutions.
  5. Able to visualize, connect and direct after-sales activities in the workshop.
  6. Experience in managing EV processes will be a strong advantage.
  7. Work location: Defu South.
  8. Able to work on alternate Saturday.
