Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, responsible, and experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Indian Dance Club and Pub


Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
  • Oversee daily club and pub operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
  • Manage staff scheduling, performance, and discipline
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with local regulations
  • Maintain a welcoming and secure environment for patrons and performers
Accounting & Administration
  • Handle basic bookkeeping and accounting functions
  • Manage vendor payments, cash flow, and invoicing
  • Maintain accurate records of expenses, revenues, and operational costs
  • Submit weekly/monthly financial reports to management
Artist & Talent Welfare
  • Act as point of contact for all artists and performers
  • Coordinate schedules, accommodations, and performance logistics
  • Ensure overall well-being and satisfaction of artists during their engagement
  • Address concerns promptly and professionally
Business Development
  • Work with management to execute promotional strategies and event concepts
  • Handle customer inquiries and build client relationships
  • Explore collaboration opportunities and drive patronage growth
  • Analyze market trends and suggest business improvements
Inventory Management
  • Monitor and manage liquor stock levels
  • Implement cost control practices and prevent pilferage
  • Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely replenishment
  • Keep accurate inventory records and reports
Customer & Clerical Handling
  • Attend to phone calls, customer bookings, and inquiries
  • Perform all necessary clerical and front-office duties as required
  • Handle complaints and resolve customer issues with professionalism
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: GCE 'O' and 'A' Levels or Diploma holders
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting tools and POS/inventory systems
  • Ability to lead a team and work night shifts/weekends
  • Fluent in English and at least one Indian language preferred
